Caution: 

Clean the kettle before use. DO NOT heat the empty kettle, it could be very dangerous. When use on a gas stove, DO NOT let the flame burn the kettle body, better keep flame under the kettle bottom. We do not recommend fill water above the spout, the whistle doesn't work and it adds the risk of overflow when the water boils.  Although the handle is heat proof, we still recommend to wait 5-10 seconds before you lift the kettle or use a potholder.
